Purpose
These terms and conditions govern the booking and monitoring of services offered by AJCRENNER SARL ‘GÎTES DE GROUPE ALSACE-VOSGES’ (58 rue de Rothau, 67130 WILDERSBACH). By making a booking, the customer acknowledges that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions in their entirety.
Booking
The customer chooses their services in full knowledge of the facts, after having read and understood their nature and terms and conditions. They are solely responsible for ensuring that their choice meets their needs. The booking is considered accepted and final once the booking process has been validated.
Booking process and confirmation
A deposit of approximately 30% of the total amount of the stay is required to confirm the booking. Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of the rental contract, the general terms and conditions of sale and the establishment’s internal rules. The booking is considered firm upon receipt of the booking deposit and is confirmed by a summary email.Cancellation or modification by the customer
Right of withdrawal and cancellation in accordance with Article L. 121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services. All bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Charges in the event of cancellation by the customer
More than 45 days before arrival: the deposit is retained by the seller.
Less than 45 days before arrival (or no-show): the deposit is retained and 80% of the total amount of the stay is due.
Shortened stay: no refund will be made.
Cancellation by the seller: In the event of cancellation by the establishment (through no fault of the customer), the full deposit will be refunded as soon as possible.
Use of the service
Upon arrival, you may be asked to present proof of identity for the establishment of the regulatory police file.
The customer undertakes to comply with the internal rules of the establishment and the rules of good conduct. Any behaviour contrary to good morals, public order or non-compliance with the internal rules may result in the immediate exclusion of the customer. In this case, no refund or compensation will be granted.Liability
Liabilities and visuals The photographs and texts illustrating our holiday cottages are for information purposes only and are not contractually binding. Although we take care to ensure their accuracy, there may be variations between the booking and your stay.
The establishment cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure, unforeseeable acts by third parties or customer negligence. Any irregular, incomplete or fraudulent booking or payment by the customer will result in the immediate cancellation of the stay at the customer’s expense, without prejudice to any legal proceedings.
Complaints
Any complaints regarding your stay must be sent to us in writing within 8 days of your departure. After this period, no complaints will be taken into account.
Prices
Prices are quoted in euros (€) inclusive of all taxes (TTC). They include the applicable VAT; any change in the rate or creation of new legal taxes will be automatically reflected in the invoiced price.
Unless specifically stated, additional services are not included in the basic rate. Tourist tax, when not already included in the booking package, must be paid directly to the establishment. For any payment made in a currency other than the euro, any exchange fees shall be borne by the customer.Privacy policy
Personal data protection (GDPR): The information collected is necessary for processing your booking and is intended for AJCRENNER SARL and its service providers (in particular MONETICO for secure credit card payments and TYLLT for deposits). By making a booking, you agree to the transfer of this data for the performance of your contract. AJCRENNER SARL and its partners undertake to take all necessary security measures to ensure the confidentiality and protection of your personal data.
Evidence agreement
Confirmation of the booking by payment of the deposit is equivalent to an electronic signature and has the same value as a handwritten signature between the parties. AJCRENNER SARL’s computerised records serve as proof for all our exchanges, orders and payments. When booking, the customer’s IP address is recorded for security purposes.
Force majeure
Force majeure refers to any unforeseeable and insurmountable event preventing one of the parties from fulfilling its obligations. In this case, the performance of the contract is suspended and neither party may be held liable for this non-performance. Each party shall bear the costs arising therefrom.Dispute resolution
These terms and conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the courts of the registered office of AJCRENNER SARL shall have sole jurisdiction.
Entire agreement
These terms and conditions, the house rules and the rental agreement constitute the entire agreement between the parties. No external conditions proposed by the customer may be incorporated into them. The establishment reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of booking is the one that applies to the stay.
Security deposit
A security deposit (cheque or via the TYLLT app) is required before entering the premises. If the deposit is not paid, the keys will not be handed over and the booking may be cancelled without refund.
Refund: If there is no damage, it will be refunded within 10 days of your departure.
Kitchen and cleaning: The kitchen must be left as clean as it was on arrival. If this is not the case, a flat fee of €400 will be charged. In the event of disagreement about the initial condition, please notify the owner immediately.
Deductions
In the event of damage, loss or insufficient cleaning, the customer will be informed of the estimated costs within 5 working days. Any deductions will be justified by a report, estimate or invoice.Additional terms and conditions:
By confirming the rental, the customer agrees to abide by the house rules (available on our website and in the welcome booklet). A 30% deposit is required to secure the booking.
Legal framework: This is a seasonal rental (max. 90 days). Subletting or transferring the contract is strictly prohibited.
Capacity: The maximum number of occupants must be respected. Extra beds (inflatable mattresses) and camping on the property (tents, caravans) are prohibited.
Pets: Only one dog is allowed, subject to the following weight limits:
Gîte du Loup: max 25 kg.
Chalet Cozy & Spa: max 15 kg.
Le Tilleul Bleu & LE 1880: max 10 kg.
Dogs must sleep in their own bed (not on beds or sofas). Please keep the cottage clean (inside and outside). In the event of damage, cleaning or replacement costs may be charged.
Rental rates
The rate includes water, electricity, heating, tourist tax, bed linen hire and end-of-stay cleaning. Exception: the kitchen must be left clean and in its original condition. Otherwise, cleaning fees will be applied.
